Clip and Unfair World win Cinema City Novi Sad
- Maja Miloš's Clip and Filippos Tsitos’s Unfair World have won the main awards in the national and international competition of Cinema City Film Festival in NoviSad
The fifth edition of Cinema City ended on June 23 with awards in four festival programmes.
In the Serbian competition, called National Class, the best film award went to Maja Miloš’s Clip [+see also:

film profile]. Miroslav Momčilović received best director and best screenplay for Death of a Man in Balkans, and Emir Hadžihafizbegović won best actor for his role in the same film. The one-shot black comedy will have its international premiere in the Forum of Independents programme of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Brazilian Kleber Mendoça Filho’s Neighbouring Sounds won best film in Educons Hungry Days, an international competitition of first or second films.
Serbian Srđan Keča won best film in Up to 10,000 Bucks, a competition of low budget films, with documentary Mirage. The award for best Serbian film went to The Other Shore by Marko Đorđević, while Anikó Urbán’s Half Past Nine won the same award in the Hungarian competition.
Poland’s Tomasz Jeziorski won special recognition for best documentary for Kamp, and the same mentions for directing and cinematography went to Stevan M. Živković by Vladimir Tagić and Fragments by Ivan Marković, respectively.
