Apulia Film Comissions launches the 3rd Mediterranean Coproduction Forum

The Apulia Film Commission Foundation presents the third edition of the Mediterranean Coproduction Forum that will take place on the 26th and 27th of October 2012 at the Cineporto of Bari.

The Mediterranean Coproduction Forum aims to support film projects that have a link with the Mediterranean and the Balkan regions, by organizing meetings and partnerships between operators in the sector (production companies, financers, experts in market and distribution) and allowing the participants to create a contact with potential co-financers.

“This project allows for the exchange of good productive practices, other than financial resources, in order to enable and facilitate the production of film in Puglia”, says Silivio Maselli director for the Apulia Film Comission.

The participating projects, selected by Alberto La Monica (director of the Lecce European Film Festival) and by the AFC, must be partially financed and “almost ready” in terms of script, cast and organization, but awaiting final financing to commence filming.

The Mediterranean Coproduction Forum is under the patronage of Eurimages and the collaboration of ACE and Sofia Meetings. The call for submissions, which ends on Monday 10th of September, can be downloaded from the website www.forum.apuliafilmcommission.it.
