Creative England Chief Executive Caroline Norbury said, “We are delighted to be able to support such a plethora of strong projects, right across the English regions. Audiences in rural and urban locations will have access to a broad breadth of programming, through large public festivals such as Cambridge Film Festival, down to small community projects offered by the Plough in North Devon. Together with funding in the first round, we have supported projects which deliver against our priorities of enhancing opportunities for audiences to engage with the moving image.”

YFA Director Sue Howard said, “The Archive Weekly Calendar web applet is a great new opportunity for the regional film archives to work together collaboratively to deliver archive content in new ways. We’re delighted that Creative England funding is enabling rollout of this innovative calendar web app, which plays out weekly byte-sized 60 second clips of archive content in each region – and will be available for all regional media/cultural/tourism/heritage websites.”
