(2009) and I Travel Alone (2011). He has now scripted his third feature with Kamilla Krogsveen, Kiss Me, You Fucking Moron, inspired by "his great passion for theatre and soccer".

Recommened by Film Commissioner Thomas Robsahm, the Norwegian Film Institute has chipped in €900,000 for the production of two new features for children and young audiences, both shooting this summer to be launched next autumn, including Kiss Me, You Fucking Moron and Christian Loe's Tough Guys.

In the film about young love, Kristiansen-Krogsveen, we follow a theatre group of teenagers, staging a play under the direction of a professional actor in the middle of a life crisis. Eili Harboe, Øyvind Larsen Runestad and Kristoffer Joner play the leads in €1.2 million production, which Sigve Endresen and Yngve Sæther will stage for Motlys AS.

Presented as a work-in-progress at New Nordic Films in Haugesund, Lo's second movie, after Rafiki (2009) which was selected for the Berlinale, is the story of 11-year-old Modulf who is bullied at school, which he thinks is fine – when the tough guys Frank and Jørgen have soaked Modulf, they don’t bother to harass others.

The idea works fine till Lise joins the class, creating havoc in the ranks and bringing herself in a situation where she must be saved. Nick Hegreberg penned the story for Sondre B. Henriksen, Regine Stokkevåg Eide and Anders Baasmo Christiansen to star in; Trine Aadalen Lo will produce on a €1.8 million budget for Filmbin SA.
