06/09/2012 - 225 features selected in new look line-up

The 56th BFI London Film Festival (October 10-21) will feature a worldwide selection of 225 feature films from more than 65 countries including 14 world premieres, 15 international premieres and 34 European premieres. The festival will henceforth have an Official Competition section. From this year, rather than being divided into regional strands, the festival has chosen to introduce themed strands focusing on Love, Debate, Dare, Laugh, Thrill, Cult, Journey, Sonic and Family.
