Holmes said, “Amit Gupta’s second film in 24 months is in the best possible hands and we’re all rolling up our sleeves to bring his wonderful tale of food-and-family to its customers.”

Andrew Brown, Director of Intandem Pictures Ltd said, “Jadoo is a wonderful, heartfelt and original British comedy for a mass market audience who, we are certain, will be as delighted by its culinary delights as they are by its heart-warming story of family ties and true love!”

Robert Mitchell, CEO of IFD, adds, “We expect the theatrical release to follow the success of other heart-warming comedies in the UK such as Billy Elliot, East is East and Bend It Like Beckham, which were all critically acclaimed as well as being hugely successful at the box office, each of them generating in excess of £5million.”
