Rome IFF: CinemaXXI, an alternative section

by

- An unfinished programme already features promising names: Paul Verhoeven, Peter Greenaway, Aki Kaurismäki, Pedro Costa and Mike Figgis

CinemaXXI has almost been set up as as an alternative festival to its mother Rome’s International Film Festival (9 – 17 November 2012). It will be presented in the next few days during its own press conference.

Marco Muller’s words certainly reveal an open-mindedness, describing the event as featuring a type of “cinema which goes backwards and forward between cinema, visual art, music, theatre, dance and architecture.”
