Lam Lê’s French documentary Cong Binh, la longue nuit indochinoise won the Jury Special Prize, while Djamila Sahraoui’s Algeria-France co-production Yema won a prize from the Town of Amiens. As for the Audience Award, it went to Licinio Azevedo’s Virgin Magarida (a Mozambique-France-Portugal co-production). This 32nd edition of the Amiens Film Festival handed out three Licorne d’Or to honour the careers of Haitian director Raoul Peck, Argentinian-French director of photography Ricardo Aronovich, and Croatian filmmaker Vatroslav Mimica.
