It thus enters the annals of history: until now, the record for admissions in Switzerland for a documentary was held by Mani Matter – Pourquoi êtes-vous si tristes? (2002) by Friedrich Kappeler, which drew over 145,000 spectators to the theatres.
2012 was, in fact, a good year for Swiss documentaries, which brought more than 450,000 viewers into the country's cinemas between January and December. Together with More Than Honey, Die Kinder vom Napf and No Business Like Show Business both attained over 50,000 admissions.
