, written and directed by Paolo Giovannesi, will represent Italy in the World Narrative section during the twelfth edition of the Tribeca Film Festival, taking place in New York on April 17-28.

Having already been awarded Best Film and Special Jury Prize at the International Rome Film Festival in 2012, the film came out in Italy last November with BIM. Ali, the main character in Giovannesi’s film, "needs to come to terms with his cultural heritage and make fundamental choices surrounding his actions and identity,” the Tribeca release explains, communicating the selection for this year in a festival directed, for the second year running, by Frenchman Frédéric Boyer. In particular, the objective of the World Narrative section is to “favour dialogue between American and global cinema.”
