The film, produced by Guido, Marco and Nicola De Angelis’ Dap Italy, will be distributed by Videa (release down for 2014). It is a comedy on sport and friendship, revolving around an absurd curling team made up of four friends, who would do anything to make it to the 2006 Turin Olympics. In between improbable practices, bending of the rules, and opposition provocation, they end up becoming the Italian champions, acquiring the right to go to the Olympics. To succeed though, they will have to become better men. An adventurous tragicomedy which follows the redemption path of four men – downtrodden by life but who still have a will to win and dream.

Filming for La mossa del pinguino will take place over five weeks in Rome, with a couple of days in Pinerolo (Turin). The film is supported by the Film Commission Torino Piemonte and received contributions from MiBAC.
