CANNES 2013 Market / France

A double-fire line-up for Le Pacte

by

- 12 films for international sales, including The Last of the Unjust and Henri, and ten films selected for distribution

Le Pacte will arrive with very persuasive arguments at the Film Market at the 66th Cannes Film Festival (from May 15th to 26th, 2013) with a 12-title line-up for international sales and ten films (including five in competition) showcased on the Croisette, for which Jean Labadie’s company has already acquired French distribution rights.

As for sales, Camille Neel’s team will  be betting in particular on the documentary The Last of the Unjust (photo) by Claude Lanzmann, retained in the Official Selection out of competition and focusing on Benjamin Murmelstein, the last President of the Jewish Council of the Theresienstadt ghetto, who fought for seven years to avoid the shutting down of this “model ghetto” invented by Adolf Eichmann to deceive the world.
