'Dífferent 6! L’autre cinema espagnol' arrives in Paris

Until June 21st, the event, which aims to attract the attention of the public and French distributors to the best of today’s Spanish author cinema, will notably present 13 feature films including 15 años y un día [+see also:

The professional section will begin on Friday with the 3rd edition of the Rendez-vous à l'Opéra! (in partnership with Ciné+, amongst others) which will see about thirty French distributors exchange with Spanish vendors. Amongst the present French companies feature Le Pacte, Ad Vitam, Wild Bunch, Rezo, SND, Sophie Dulac Distribution, Jour2Fête, Happiness Distribution, Capricci Films, KMBO, Eurozoom, Swift and Epicentre Films.

On Friday, June 21st, a coproduction encounter will take place for the sixth consecutive year. Based on the concept "Small is biútiful" and with partners such as the Film Commission of the Ile-de-France region and the Film Market of the Cannes Film Festival, the event selected six projects (from 52 candidates) by Spanish author cinema filmmakers who are looking for partners: Ana de día by Andrea Jaurrieta, El desconocido by Dani de la Torre (Vaca Films), Fishbone by Adán Aliaga (Jaibo Films), La novia by Paula Ortiz (Get in the Picture Production), Reservado al personal by Neus Ballús (El Kinograf) and Vulcania [+see also:
