, which is based on stories and characters from Swedish singer-songwriter Håkan Hellstrom's lyrics and music.

Screening at a gala Monday (July 15) at all 14 auditoria in Göteborg’s Film City Bergakungen, Feel No Sorrow was originally given an age limit of +15 by the National Media Council, but local distributor SF Bio appealed the decision, which a court changed to +11. “We are of course thrilled – our ambition has always been it should be seen by audiences of all ages, just like Hellström’s music is liked by both old and young,” said Stein.

Scripted by Cilla Jackert, the film stars Pål and his friends Eva, Lena, Lena, Johnny and the streets and squares of Göteborg (Hellström’s breakthrough in 2000 was the song Don’t Feel Sorry for Me, Göteborg). In Malcolm Lidbeck and David Olsson’s production for Acne Drama, Pål dreams of success in the world of music, but he has a major obstacle – himself: his deep thoughts constantly get him into trouble. On an emotional journey one summer in Göteborg he is thrown between passion an deceit – love, reconcilitation and deliverance.

Adam Lundgren stars as Pål, with Josefin Neldén, Disa Östrand and Jonathan Andersson as his friends, adding Tomas von Brömssen, Marie Richardson, Reine Brynolfsson and Gunilla Nyroos. - Currently on a major national tour, Hellström started as a drummer in the Swedish pop group Broder Daniel between 1988-1994, then 1997-2003. He has since focused on his solo career and released seven albums – six came No 1, one No 2 on the local charts.
