by Thanos Anastopoulos from Greece, and best short film prize went to the same country, for Christos Nikou’s KM.

The honorary Motovun Maverick award, which celebrates non-conformity and independence, but also artistic mastery, was presented to Iranian auteur Mohsen Makhmalbaf.
