film profile], the big winner at the recent Pula Film Festival, won after three rounds of voting by seven film critics and seven professionals.
The honorary Motovun Maverick award, which celebrates non-conformity and independence, but also artistic mastery, was presented to Iranian auteur Mohsen Makhmalbaf.
