Written by Nakache and Toledano, the screenplay of Samba is still kept secret except for a few details that leaked: it’s a social comedy and Omar Sy will play an illegal immigrant.

Produced by Nicolas Duval Adassovsky, Yann Zenou and Laurent Zeitoun for Quad Productions (partners of all of Nakache and Toledano’s features), Samba is coproduced by Gaumont (which will handle the distribution in France at the end of 2014 and the international sales) and Ten Films (the directors’ company). The filming will take place in Paris until mid-January.
