Written by the director with Péter Gál and Csaba Tóth, the screenplay follows three professionally successful characters in Budapest (a building contractor and a couple of lawyers) with slightly “elastic” moral standards... They take off for a hunting weekend in Transylvania to celebrate a victorious trial. A fatal accident will occur and the situation will spiral out of control as they make decisions to avoid the consequences of their actions, which will finally catch up with them. According to Áron Mátyássy, the film deals with “themes such as having too much self-confidence which leads to irresponsible actions, the increasingly thick web of lies and the danger of transgressing moral rules necessary to life in society. Produced by Sándor Csortos Szabó for Budapest Film and Ferenc Pusztai (Producer on the Move 2007 for the European Film Promotion) for KMH FilmWeekend is backed notably by the Hungarian Film Fund, which will also handle the international sales. The filming will last seven weeks in Romania (in Transylvania) and in Budapest with cinematographer Márk Gyori (noticed for his work on Katalin Varga [+see also:
