New Morning Films enters the arena
- Emergence of a new international sales company managed by Germain Labeille who notably bets on the Slovenian phenomenon Good to Go
The very dynamic panorama of French international sales company welcomes a new member: New Morning Films (NMF). Created by Germain Labeille who began with Rezo, Jour2Fête and Albany Films International, the Parisian structure has the ambition of working on a focused line-up, prioritizing films by young European filmmakers.
"My goal is to stand up for first and second author films, and to work on a voluntarily limited number of titles – no more than six a year – in order to favour dialogue and substantive work with directors and producers, and create an atmosphere of quality and trust.”

Germain Labeille is in fact in Greece where he hopes to find young new talent of European cinema, even though NMF also sells titles from other continents such as Canadian feature The Journey, discovered in Toronto in the Contemporary World Cinema programme.
