A digital Sunday
The Netherlands Film Fund (NFF) and Amsterdam’s De Balie Cinema have organised a one-day event called Celluloid/Digital Episode 2, scheduled to take place on Sunday 13 April.
The programme includes a series of six block screenings of recent Dutch films that were produced with funds from the NFF’s “Research & Development” department.
Filmmaker and critic, Mart Dominicus, who is the Fund’s artistic consultant as of January 2003, will moderate a debate with the directors of the films screened and the audience.
The titles selected include Equilibrium by Ruth Meyer, Onvoldoende Voldoende by Carina Ellemers, Le grand tango by Pieter Jan Smit, Scape by Joost Rekveld and Isabelle Vigier and Esther Rots’ short film entitled Speel met me, which was selected for Cannes 2002.
