(provisional title) by famous Italian director Nanni Moretti (selected six times in competition in Cannes, Best Director Award in 1994 and Palme d'Or in 2001). Produced by Sacher Film and Le Pacte, this Italian-French coproduction will be filmed in January and February 2014 in Rome. Written by the director with Francesco Piccolo and Valia Santella, the screenplay offers a surprising projection of Nanni Moretti in the shoes of a female alter ego. Through the tragicomic mishaps of a committed filmmaker who is going through a personal and professional crisis, Moretti wants to “describe our confusion and difficulty in understanding and telling the cultural and social crisis which affects everyone of us.” The main role will be held by Margherita Buy whilst Nanni Moretti will play the brother.
