The first film is Lovelace,directed by Oscar-winning Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. Starring Amanda Seyfried, the film tells the story of Linda Lovelace, the porn star who became famous in 1972 thanks to red light cult film Deep Throat. The film, which also stars Sharon Stone, Adam Brody and James Franco, will come out in movie theatres in March.

After Lovelace, the next film to be distributed will be The Iceman,a thriller written and directed by Ariel Vromen, based on the life of ferocious American serial killerRichard Kuklinski with Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder and Ray Liotta. In the second half of the year The Bag Man directed by David Grovic with Robert De Niro and John Cusack will be distributed. The film tells the story of the unlucky criminal taken on by a legendary boss who tests him out. In the same time period, AsI Lay Dying, presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and written, directed and interpreted by James Franco will also hit movie theatres.

Finally, in anticipation for next year: Barter will be the Italian distributor for Dying of the Light, written and directed by Paul Schrader with Nicolas Cage, coming out in American cinemas in 2015.
