) latest film is the story of four women from the same family, who are forced to tackle the economic crisis head on in a small Salento village. The failure of their family business and the dilapidation of their home seems to threaten everything, including emotional ties. The only solution seems to be moving to the countryside, working the land and bartering the fruits of their labour. “A film on the economic crisis seen as a new beginning, on the possibility of being happy, despite everything,” the director explained.

In grazia di Dio, is the result of an ecological and original production model, inspired by the film’s own story (read the news story). It is produced by Edoardo Winspeare, Gustavo Caputo, Alessandro Contessa for Saietta Film with Rai Cinema, in association with the Banca Popolare Pugliese, and support from the Apulia Film Commission, with contributions from Apulia’s department for agricultural policies.
