“The high demand underlines Moland’s position as a star director and a masterful filmmaker who excels in creating quirky and dark Nordic comedies with great sales potential both locally and internationally,” said managing director Rikke Ennis, of TrustNordisk. “This is a fantastic start for the film,” added Gjerdrum. “We are really looking forward to the Norwegian opening on February 21.” Nordisk Film Distribusjon is handling the local release.

Scripted by Kim Fupz Aakeson, and starring Stellan Skarsgård, Bruno Ganz and Pål Sverre Hagen, In Order of Disappearance follows 45-year-old Nils, who drives a snow blower in a remote winter paradise in the Norwegian mountains. When his student son in Oslo dies of an overdose, he suddenly finds himself caught up in the middle of a war between drug syndicates.
