Metrodome hits Croisette with Prey, Howl

The Metrodome Group will launch their new sales arm, Metrodome International, at Cannes. Premiere Market screenings include Brian O’Malley’s horror film Let Us Prey, starring Liam Cunningham and Pollyanna McIntosh and Simeon Halligan’s thriller White Settlers, starring McIntosh alongside Lee Williams. 

Titles in pre-production represented by Metrodome include Paul Hyett’s werewolf film Howl, due to film May/June and Sean Hogan’s World War 1 horror film No Man’s Land that will shoot in August. Metrodome is also representing Dominic Brunt’s revenge thriller The Taking, starring Victoria Smurfit and Joanne Mitchell that is currently in production and Billy O’Brien’s science fiction thriller Scintilla, starring John Lynch and Craig Conway, that has been completed.

Metrodome also has a trio of British gangster films by Paul Tanter including Meet the Firm: Revenge in Rio, starring Josh Myers and Vas Blackwood; Gangster Playboy Legends, starring Peter Barrett and Charlie Bond; and Gangster Playboys Retribution, starring Billy Murray and Alex Esmail. The company will also represent the AV Pictures catalogue. Head of Sales and Acquisitions Caroline Couret-Delègue and Distribution Manager Jane Carolan will represent the company.

Meanwhile, Protagonist Pictures will show footage from James Kent’s Testament of Youth, starring Kit Harington and Hayley Atwell, at the Market. The company will also screen Tom Green’s Monsters: Dark Continent, starring Joe Dempsie and Jonny Harris, Lenny Abrahamson’s Michael Fassbender starrer Frank [+see also:
