Having won the Fipresci Prize in the parallel sections (read the news), the film has also made off with the Europa Cinemas Label, awarded by a jury of exhibitors to the best European film at the Fortnight, where it also picked up the SACD Prize and the Art Cinema Award.
Starring Adèle Haenel and Kevin Azaïs, Love at First Fight – which was produced by Pierre Guyard for Nord-Ouest Films, was pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, and received backing from the CNC's advance on receipts, the Aquitaine region, the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department and the Sofica Cofimage – will be distributed in France by Haut et Court on 20 August and is sold internationally by Bac Films.
