The film has already been acquired by, among others, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Benelux, Greece, Romania, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Israel, Mexico and Taiwan.
The Best Screenplay winner Leviathan by the Russian Andreï Zvyagintsev will be distributed in France and was sold internationally by Pyramide, which has already sealed almost all territories (including the US with Sony Pictures Classics) apart from Germany and Japan.
