film profile] by Ivan Ikic at the 49^th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (4-12 July 2014), a film that has been selected in the East of the West competitive section. Produced by Serbian company Sense and co-produced by Montenegro’s Or and Slovenian outfit Restart, the feature revolves around a restless teenage boy on the verge of adulthood. Living on the outskirts of Belgrade while managing a football fan club, Luka is dragged into the upheaval of the protests in Serbia following Kosovo’s declaration of independence in 2008 – but he also uncovers a family secret.

The Wide Management team headed by Loïc Magneron also boasts in its line-up the Finnish-Croatian co-production A Patriotic Man by Arto Halonen, the Latvian thriller The Man In The Orange Jacket [+see also:
