Despite ongoing problems caused by stiff competition and domestic market dominance by US productions, the Iberian film industry is in a state of grace, as demonstrated by the 38 production companies that will present 35 features and hold 85 screenings at the 41st edition of Cannes Marché. This is an increase on 2002 when 27 companies organised 77 screenings.
