The film’s team hopes to find co-production and distribution partners for this family drama currently in post-production. Do You Love Me received support from the Lithuanian National Film Center.

The screenplay, written by the director, tells the story of a family of three, but instead of focusing on the mother, the father and their 11-year-old daughter, Lužytė tackles their relationship as the main character. At first, they simply exist next to each other, rather than living together, but the atmosphere will change when a water pipe bursts and floods their neighbours downstairs. A minor misadventure in the life of a normal family will become a great challenge in theirs.

The domestic release is expected for 2015 or 2016.

Born in 1985 in Vilnius, Lužytė directed It Would Be Splendid, Yet, a short film selected at more than 15 international film festivals. She also directed a documentary, Igrushki (Toys), which centres on the violation of human rights in Belarus.
