The team headed by Eric Lagesse and Lucero Garzon will be continuing its successful streak this week with the 17th Rendez-vous with French Cinema event, organised in Paris by UniFrance from 15-19 January. ), young actor Florian Lemaire, Clotilde Coureau, Peter Coyote and Keziah Jones. Written by the director, the story revolves around two characters: 35-year-old Eva, who is a vivacious, scatterbrained layabout of a woman who has no children; and Leon, an enigmatic and curious ten-year-old boy who has no parents. At five o’clock one morning, Leon suddenly turns up at a table on a terrace and thus enters Eva’s life. He was born to an unidentified mother and is trying to track her down, so Eva decides to help him out on his quest. They don’t know each other but spend five unforgettable days together, and an unlikely friendship blossoms from this encounter. He teaches her how to grow up, while she teaches him how to be a child once again. Produced by Candice Zaccagnino for the firm ElianeAntoinette, Eva & Leon will be distributed in France by Pyramide

Pyramide International, which specialises in young, high-quality French cinema, will also be screening, among other titles, two of its most recent gems in Paris: Le dernier coup de marteau [+see also:
