Francesco Munzi’s film, which competed at Venice last year and was recently acclaimed by the American press, obtained 16 nominations (including for best film, director and screenplay) for awards, which are given out by the Academy of Italian Cinema. “I’m delighted, above all for the people who worked on the film with me, because this film is the result of a big team effort”, said the director after the nominations were announced today in Rome.
