22/07/2015 - The Sarajevo Film Festival has announced its feature and shorts competitions, as well as the In Focus programme

The Sarajevo Film Festival has announced its main programme, including the feature and shorts competitions, and the In Focus programme. 

The Competition Programme – Feature Film includes two world premieres, and six out of the total of ten titles are feature debuts. Our Everyday Life [+see also:

film profile], the first feature film by Bosnian director Ines Tanović, best known for the ZagrebDox-winning short A Day on the Drina (2012), will have its world premiere at Sarajevo. The other world premiere hails from Turkey: Entanglement [+see also:

Another feature debut will have its international premiere at the festival, namely Romanian filmmaker Andrei Cohn's Coming Home [+see also:

The Competition Programme – Short Film includes three world premieres: Damaged Goods by Nermin Hamzagić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), A Matter of Will by Dušan Kasalica (Montenegro) and A Random Act of Kindness by Andrei Gruzsniczki (Romania). Also competing are Turkish director Ziya Demirel's Tuesday, which was in the Cannes Shorts Competition; Zeus by Bulgaria's Pavel Vesnakov, who won a string of awards with Pride in 2014, including the Grand Prix at Clermont-Ferrand and the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Film last year; and With Many Things to Come by Serbia's Jelena Gavrilović (Boys Where Are You).
