, which will start principal photography on 28 September; shooting will take place in Silkeborg and Copenhagen in Denmark, on Majorca and at Swedish regional film centre Film i Väst in Trollhättan; it will wrap on 20 November.

The award-winning 2012 novel, which stayed in the top-ten list of Danish bestsellers for a year, tells the story of Mia (Dyrholm), whose highly respected headmaster husband Frederik (Kaas) has for three years suffered from a slow-growing brain tumour, which has changed his personality. Their lives change even more dramatically when he is accused of having embezzled €1.6 million from his Copenhagen school. Together with their lawyer (Nyqvist), Mia fights for his acquittal – was he himself when he did it?

Fog has himself scripted the movie, which also sees Meike Bahnsen and Maria Rossing among the cast; it will be produced by Louise Vesth for Zentropa Entertainments. The Danish Film Institute has chipped in €1 million for the production with, among others, TV2 Danmark, TV2 Norway and Nordisk Film, which has scheduled the local premiere for February 2017. TrustNordisk is handling international sales.
