The main programme and line-up of speakers for the European Film Forum Tallinn have been announced. Set to be held from 18-19 November in Theatre NO99, the executive-level summit entitled "#Digital Future for Film", organised with the support of the European Commission, will see some 30 global leaders from film, policy, technology and venture capital discussing the key issues related to the hot topic of the Digital Single Market.

The event will be headlined by the eagerly awaited “fireside chat” with EU Vice-President for the Digital Single Market Andrus Ansip, entitled “DSM & Europe’s Digital Future”, where the Vice-President will be interviewed by the editor of a global film trade publication on his views and goals for the DSM agenda and roadmap; he will also take questions from members of the audiovisual industry.

Other speakers across the numerous talks include legendary producer and technology specialist David Traub (Jobs), multi-award-winning producer and film financing expert Ilann Girard (OLFFI), technology visionary Linnar Viik (Pocopay), Nordic angel investor Margus Uudam (Ambient Sound Investments) and Voyelle Acker (France Télévisions).

They will be joined on stage by key film-industry players from FIAPF, the BFI, the CNC, Europa International, ICM Partners, EuroVoD, Producers Guild of America (PGA), the Estonian Film Foundation, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Distrify and more.

The programme includes the sessions “Territoriality: Business Backbone or Barrier?”, “Divided or Divorced: Why Can't Europe’s Audiovisual Content Business Raise Venture Capital?”, “Storytelling 2.0: Living, Playing, Learning, Experimenting”, “Potential or Disruption: Going Digital with Europe’s Content Sales”, “Local for Global: Challenges for the National Film Policy” and “Big Data and the Future of Audiovisual Business”.
