Thus begins “the encounter of a life that’s ebbing away with a life that’s just beginning”, as the producer, Stefania Bifano, describes it. “This film is a great opportunity to tell an extraordinary story of compassion. We have an antihero protagonist, the elderly Maria Celeste, a sad and odd lost clown, who, after a few gags, finds herself embarking on a wayward adventure that’s a lot bigger than her, but that only she can take on”.
