Starline Entertainment, a London based company specialising in the global sales, catalogue management, production, financing and marketing of content across all media platforms, has partnered with Arts Alliance to distribute television and Video on Demand (VoD) rights internationally for concert film Jonas Kaufmann: An Evening with Puccini by Brian Large (Arabella). Arts Alliance is a London-based financier, distributor and marketer of Event Cinema worldwide.

The film focuses on a performance of Puccini arias by tenor Jonas Kaufmann at Milan’s legendary opera venue La Scala. Complementing the concert, Kaufmann offers his own personal profile of Puccini. The film is currently on a global theatrical event release through Arts Alliance, including UK, North America, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.

Starline’s Director of Worldwide Distribution, Julie Delaney, said, “This stunning film captures the magic of a very special night and, following such a successful release, we are thrilled to be working with Arts Alliance to bring it to broadcasters all over the world.”

In 2015, in a bid to differentiate in a crowded marketplace, Starline began associating with films that have parallel event opportunities, starting with Marc Quinn: Making Waves. Alongside the film’s theatrical release, there was a gallery exhibition of the celebrated artist Marc Quinn’s work. Starline used the publicity generated from these events to exploit video on demand (VoD) and television markets. The Arts Alliance deal marks a natural progression into Event Cinema.
