The industry part of the Sofia International Film Festival (10-20 March), Sofia Meetings, launches its 13th edition today. The teams behind 27 selected projects, many from European countries and all of them first, second or third features, will meet with more than 150 industry executives from different parts of the world.

The 13th edition also includes several additional events, such as a workshop on audience development by Europa Cinemas, a Europa Distribution workshop (read the news), case studies, and presentations of various programmes and training schemes. Sofia Meetings has been organised with the help of Creative Europe – MEDIA programme, the Bulgarian National Film Center, Sofia Municipality and the local Ministry of Culture. Nu Boyana Studios will give out the Grand Prix for Best Project.
