Africalia and the Festival International du Film Fantastique de Bruxelles have joined forces to put on a special event. From June 19 to July 13, the De Markten cultural centre and the Cinéma Nova will be hosting Africa Screams, an overview of the most representative productions from the Nigerian and Ghanaian video markets.

There will be 16 films never seen before in Belgium presented at the Cinéma Nova, while the De Markten will be featuring an exhibition of film posters made by local artists. The guests at Africa Screams include William Akufo (Ghana), Fidelis Duker (Nigeria), Tobias Wendel (Germany) and Richard Stanley (UK).
