Thirteen days away from the start of the 69th Cannes Film Festival (11-22 May 2016), the identity of the chair of the Un Certain Regard jury has been unveiled: Marthe Keller. Japanese filmmaker Naomi Kawase – who has already been named as the chair of the jury (read the news) tasked with singling out the best movies made by film-school students from among the 18 titles in the Cinéfondation Selection, and who will give out the Palme d'Or to one of the ten short films selected in the official competition – will be joined by fellow jury members Canadian actress Marie-José Croze, Romanian filmmaker Radu Muntean, his French counterpart Jean-Marie Larrieu, and Argentinian director and author Santiago Loza.
The Caméra d'Or jury (which will judge the feature debuts in the Official Selection, the Directors’ Fortnight and the Critics’ Week) will be chaired by French director Catherine Corsini. She will be flanked by Jean-Christophe Berjon (Union of French Film Critics - SFCC), Russian producer Alexander Rodnyansky, Isabelle Frilley (Federation of Film, Audiovisual and Multimedia Industries - FICAM) and Jean-Marie Dreujou (French Association of Directors of Photography - AFC).
