, onto 16 screens, 13 of which in Flanders.
Barman took a temporary leave of absence from the music business to dedicate himself to cinema and critics deemed Anyway The Wind Blows as "an unclassifiable work of poetry" that matches the Antwerp-born Barman’s character in terms of both style and content. Set in Antwerp on a summer’s day and against a backdrop of music in the air and people playing with frisbees in the local parks, it is a story of people meeting and discussing the most eclectic subjects possible, from the things that have hurt them, to the Dance, viruses, Andy Warhol, films and abuse of substances of every kind. The constant of this film is an enigmatic phenomenon called Windman, who is always on the move and who perceives the suffering of those around him but is incapable of helping himself. During the course of this one day, eight people dream about making a new life for themselves.
