Pitch at Ammunition Live!
There’s a saying that everyone has a film in them trying to break out. If you think you might be the next Spielberg or Polanski, then Ammunition! Live! is the event for you. Organised by the Raindance Festival (24 Oct-7 Nov, 2003) Ammunition Live will take place at the Edward Lewis Lecture Theatre in London’s Cleveland Street on Tuesday 8 July at 18:30-20:30.
For just £5 (Euros7.18), you will be given 2 minutes to sell your film project to the panel of Antonia Bird, the director of Ravenous and Face, Tracey Scoffield, Head of Development and Executive Producer at BBC Films, actress and writer Morweena Banks, Leslee Udwin the producer of East is East and The One and Only and Littlebird Pictures' Nahrein Mirza. (There is no charge for Raindance subscribers).
It’s only fair to warn you that albeit light-hearted, this is a serious opportunity: a number of past pitches went onto become hits like Meet the Parents in 1995, 51st State in 1995, Siamese Cop in 1996 and White Bhaji in 2001.
However, should the audience or the panel find your presentation boring or useless, they are at liberty to boo you off the floor at any time!
