After playing Carmen in Vicente Aranda’s eponymous feature, 4 August will see Andalusia’s Paz Vega on the Madrid set of Tam Tam, a romantic comedy directed by Juan Calvo.
This whirlwind of an actress plays an ambitious young ingénue alongside Victor Martinez as a cinema usher who lives out his romantic fantasies in the films he sees while on the job. Both characters end up taking part in a popular TV talent-scout operation called "Tal para Cual".
Tam Tam is Juan Calvo’s directorial feature debut and he also wrote the screenplay which was one of ten selected for the last edition of European Pitch Point at the 2003 Berlinale.
