Arts minister gets Film mandate

Following the recent Blair Cabinet reshuffle, Estelle Morris was appointed minister for arts with responsibility for film policy.
The mild-mannered Morris, who famously resigned as secretary of state for education following a national row over A-level exam results nine months ago replaces the pugnacious Kim Howells.
Morris will report to secretary of state Tessa Jowell.
