PRODUCTION Belgium

Deruddere's For the Pleasure

by

The latest film by Michelle de Broca’s French film production slate, Fildebroc, directed by Belgium’s Dominique Deruddere is ready to go into production. After Crazy Love, Bandini, Suite 16, Hombres Complicados and Iedeeren Beroemd! (nominated for an Oscar), Deruddere went for a police comedy this time around and Pour le Plaisir (For the Pleasure) is about a garage owner who goes into psychoanalysis after his wife confides her sexual inadequacies.
Deruddere’s cast includes Gallic stars, Samuel Le Bihan, François Berléand, Nadia Farès, Cécile Cassel and Lorant Deutsch and Belgium's Olivier Gourmet and Georges Siatidis.
Although the story is set in France, the film will be made on location in Belgium because it is cheaper. Pour le Plaisir is scheduled for release at the end of this year.
