Océan Films, A-Film Distribution, Pegasos Film, these are just some of the world’s leading film buyers scheduled to come to the 3rd edition of Italian Screenings, the only market dedicated entirely to quality Italian cinema, that will run from 3-6 July.
A total of 60 distributors from 21 countries are taking part: five from Germany, four each from France, Russia and the United States, will meet with Italian film exporters to discuss projects and see 25 new films, 6 international premieres as well as the 100 titles stored in the video library.

The Italian Screenings are organised by Italia Cinema, with the Foreign Trade Institute (ICE), Unefa, the municipality of Perugia and, for the first time this year, MIFED. The event will open with the screening, for a selected VIP audience, of Marco Tullio Giordana’s La meglio gioventù [+see also:

film profile] at the Pavone Theatre. The honour of closing the Screenings will go to Mario Sesti’s L’ultima sequenza, an ensemble of outtakes from Fellini’s 8 ½.
