Unveiled at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section (where it won an award), the film, starring Jeanne Balibar and the director himself, based on a screenplay written by Amalric with Philippe Di Folco, was produced by Patrick Godeau for Waiting For Cinema and Alicéléo.
