Accorsi Forever

Actor-director Michele Placido is once again joining forces with one of Italy’s most popular young actors, Stefano Accorsi for his latest film, Sempre (Forever). They first worked together in Un Viaggio Chiamato Amore. Accorsi is to play an ER doctor. Producer Riccardo Tozzi of Cattleya described the film as "a dramatic and romantic tale about a young married couple, both of whom take a lover. "
The film is scheduled to go into production in October. In the meantime, Accorsi had second thoughts about playing tragic Neapolitan journalist Giancarlo Siani, assassinated by the Neapolitan Camorra, in L’abusivo directed by Marco Risi. This film was scheduled to begin in September but Accorsi’s decision to step down has postponed the start date.
