Warm welcome for Title Films
The launch of a tax shelter system to incentivate Belgian film production has local industy operators rejoicing and a number of leading industry players like filmmaker Alain Berliner (the director of the Golden Globe-winning Ma vie en rose) and Serge Peffer (journalist and accountant) have come together to create a new audiovisual company called Title Films. The concept behind Title Films is to nurture young local talent.
Title Films is the brainchild of Gilles Daoust, winner of the Start Academy's Best Business Plan award, organised by the Solvay Business School and ULB of Brussels. The first Title Films project, scheduled to launch in September, is called Cine Quest - A Belgian Film Competition. The goal being to produce a new feature film.
