16 CoPro Pitching projects at Lille’s Séries Mania

The new showcase of the go-getting Séries Mania festival, which for its ninth edition (27 April - 5 May) is shifting from Paris to Lille (in the Hauts-de-France region), is starting to show us what it’s made of. In particular, it has unveiled its industry-focused sidebar, the European Project and Talent Forum, which will take place from 2-4 May. Indeed, the ambitious gathering presided over by Rodophe Belmer and run by managing director Laurence Herszberg has announced the list of the 16 projects selected (out of the 370 applicants hailing from 40 countries) for its CoPro Pitching. The best title of all will receive an award to the tune of €50,000, handed out by a jury chaired by Christophe Riandee (deputy managing director of Gaumont), but obviously, all of the projects will be open to negotiations with the 1,000-plus professionals from the world of international series who will be in attendance in Lille, and who will be on the lookout for opportunities to board as a co-producer or to make a pre-purchase.
