, which is also part of the 25th L’Alternativa Barcelona Panorama line-up. Starting its journey at the Berlinale, the movie has been selected at multiple festivals since its screening at San Sebastián in September. Some of the highlights are the Award for Best Photography for Lara Vilanova that it scooped at Cinespaña in Toulouse, its selection in Doclisboa’s New Visions, its participation in the 42nd Sao Paulo International Film Festival, its Polish premiere at the 26th Camerimage in Bydgoszcz and its unspooling at the 56th Gijón International Film Festival, in FICX PLUS. It’s worth noting that the film was released in Mexico last month, and it was also nominated at the Iberoamerican Fénix Film Awards. Imminent screenings include the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in Sarajevo (28 November-2 December) and the 19th Tbilisi International Film Festival (3-9 December), where Thirty Souls is in competition.
